Probleme mit v4l und Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150

Ich hatte mich nach längerer Recherche für die TV-Karte Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 entschieden, da diese an mehreren Stellen auf ubuntu Seiten als funktionierend unter ubuntu beschrieben steht.
Nun habe ich als Linux-Neuling das Problem, das Teil tun nicht was es soll und auch v4l funktioniert nicht. Folgendes habe ich schon untersucht :

Nun, hat jemand eine Ahnung, was ich wo noch einstellen muß ???

Bei den Kernel-Modulen ist v4l jedenfalls dabei. Ein /dev/vdi ist tatsächlich nicht vorhanden, jedoch aber ein /dev/vdi0 .

also xawtv mit der option -nodga starten. ein fehler weniger

Hallo.

Danke für den Tipp. xawtv öffnet jetzt zumindest ein Fenster und die Fehlermeldung hat sich etwas verändert.

Hallo.

Nun entsprechen die Fehlernummern der von v4l-conf (siehe ganz oben 1. Quellcode). Das läßt mich vermuten, dass das Problem bei video4linux zu suchen und zuerst zu beheben ist.

Hallo.

Also video4linux gibt folgende Fehlermeldungen aus, wenn ich es unter System-Einstellungen-Kontrollzentrum-MultimediaSystem-Video zu aktivieren versuche :

Auswahl v4l : Fehlermeldung : Video for Linux (v4l): Konnte nicht aus der Ressource lesen.
Auswahl v4l2 : Fehlermeldung : Video for Linux 2 (v4l2): Could not negotiate format.

Also Geräte stehen : Vorgabe, Hauppage WinTV PVR 150 (/dev/video0), Hauppage WinTV PVR 150 (/dev/video24), Hauppage WinTV PVR 150 (/dev/video32) zur Verfügung. Aber keine Kombination funktioniert und bringen immer obige Fehlermeldung.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie das in Ordnung zu bringen geht ?
