ATI Treiberinstallation schief gelaufen?

Hallo,
habe heute versucht den neuen Ati Treiber zu installieren, der vor kurzem rausgekommen ist und es is irgendwas schief gelaufen..beim starten siehts so ähnlich wie bei MS-DOs von windows..danach kommt ein kleines fenster dass mich fragt ob ich jetz immer im low-modus betreiben möchte??...dann startet sich ubuntu...ich logge mich ein..alles unscharf..auflösung ist 800x600(nicht veränderbar, kein 1280x1024 wählbar)??? wenn ich teste ob der ATI treiber installiert wurde gibt der terminal mir das aus

Ich habe es erstmal aufgegeben. ATI-Treiber seit 3 Generationen bei meiner alten X300 völlig unbrauchbar (vorher ging es so wie in meinem HowTo auch beschrieben).

Nun ist ein neuer fglrx-Treiber draußen, der sogar schon AIGLX unterstützt. Hey! Das war schnell. Noch nicht getestet, da ich auf eine Nvidia-Karte gewechselt bin.
Hach, was stressfrei
